Atley installs Atley C100 at world class nuclear medicine research institute Arronax

Gothenburg, Sweden – 17 February 2025 – Atley Solutions has successfully installed an Atley C100 module at Arronax, a world-leading nuclear medicine research institute in Nantes, France. This installation marks a significant milestone in the industrialization of Astatine-211 (At-211) radiopharmaceutical manufacturing, enabling Arronax to scale up production while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Arronax is playing a key role in advancing At-211 based drug development
Arronax is one of Europe’s foremost producers of At-211, a promising radionuclide for targeted alpha therapy in oncology. The institute plays a key role in advancing At-211-based drug development, and the installation of the Atley C100 module further strengthens Nantes’ position as a major hub for At-211 research and manufacturing.

“Increasing the availability of At-211 to researchers and drug developers is key for the clinical translation of At-211-based drug candidates in Europe” said Ferid Haddad, Director of Arronax. “we are impatient to assess the gains Atley’s C100 module can bring to our operation”

Advancing At-211 Manufacturing with the Atley C100
The Atley C100 is the world’s first and only commercially available manufacturing system specifically designed for At-211 radiopharmaceuticals. By automating and industrializing both the dry distillation purification process and At-211 radiolabeling processes, the module enhances production capacity while ensuring operator safety and regulatory compliance.

This installation at Arronax represents a major scientific and commercial achievement for Atley, reinforcing its mission to bridge the gap between research and industrial applications.

“Nantes has long been a European hub for At-211 research, alongside our home base in Gothenburg, Sweden,” said Milton Lönnroth, CEO of Atley Solutions. “Arronax’s groundbreaking work in nuclear medicine has been instrumental in advancing At-211 applications, and we are proud to support their efforts with the Atley C100 module.”
